Hello my dearest ID:JC people. It has been awhile since I last wrote an affirmation over here. Anyhow, I’m doing this while I’m on the bus because I know that once I’m home I will end up rushing ironing my clothes for work tomorrow and tug into bed for my few hours of sleep.

I just want to give a shout out to the following people:

Hey! You have really grown in taking ownership of your generation. You are really one of those few that not only know about it, but making the effort to talk about it even in your own blog entry. More than that, because of this godly burden it has transformed you that you rushed down after school today to SBW in your school uniform. I somehow have this feeling you never really like to wear your school uniform down which is why in the past you will go home to change your clothes before coming down. But when the clock strikes 245pm today- which is school ending time, you rushed down to SBW to join me in spending time with Han Wei and Paul. Thanks. What impressed me was the entire wait alone you did at KFC while all of us were busy either playing, talking to people and all. Knowing your nature, God has wired you to be a connector. Asking a connector to sit down alone is like sending him to hell. Yes, your eyes gave it away. You tear while waiting not because it was a moving sight, but you were bored to death. Despite it, you didn’t complain. Hey, though the came late I bet you could have thought you should have gone home and changed but you didn’t. I’m really looking forward to the day where you take up your generation – very soon. You have all my support.

You lovely act of accepting me into your house on funny days makes me feel that your house is my second home in Yishun. J Beyond the staying over, you have this untamed hunger to learn and asking question. Thanks hearing my rants yesterday at MACS and listened to what I felt like doing. It was because of that you made me learn something new about correction. The principal of end point is certain but we can take many different routes there nut we must find the best that will fit our people. J Thanks. Guess you never taught you had the ability to teach me something? Haha. You did. More than that, you also came down after you end school though you went home – nothing wrong because we met at 3pm. I know Mondays are precious to you, but you choose to receive scolding and disapprove from your love ones to spend time with the lost. Thanks for living a life that chooses to touch your generation,

I appreciate your initiative to know more about God and myself through texting myself. More than that, today’s lunch event showed me that you went out of your comfort zone to travel down from school just to spend time with the lost. Thanks for asking Kang Le to sit with you. Honestly, I didn’t expect that but when you did that it really made me felt a lot relieved. I remember you saying on Saturday, that you will only see us at VIVO city, but what really astound me was that you came down thought you could have many reasons to stay in school. I know that KFC meal meant your allowance, but hey it was all worth it. You sowed the seed.

Hey! I want to say that you suggestion to me yesterday over a text with regards to the fact you will want to change your lecture time to be in the morning so that you can end by 11am with the intention to go down to Christchurch to reach out. That decision thought simple, I can see the love of God which is like fire is burning out loud and clear. I know that you are still learning leadership, but hang on. As you learn leadership , play on your strength which is being pastoral. It was said before and it shall be say again, the encouragement card that spread over GEN, ID:JC was a result of you. That’s your strength. To take time to appreciate people and lift them up. Learn leadership, while playing on your strength. Simply because you are JUN JIE. You are special and God has made you this way.

Thanks for taking the effort to post up your testimonies about your sowing yesterday. What really encouraged me today was the sharing we had while we were heading back to home from movie. Your joy from reaching out to the lost, encouraged me to keep going. Thanks for being so inspiring. J Though you are sick, you life and actions give me COMPLETE assurance that I know you will give God your best. Woman, as you continue to serve him, please take care of your walk with God and studies as well. Yes, I rejoice over the fact that you are understanding chemistry. J Keep up the good work!

Something about you that have left an etched in my heart is that you are a willing to allow God to use you. Though sometimes it may cost you do something that you might not exactly like, but I somehow have this confidence from you that you will still do it because you love God. For example, the part where you led the prayer for Yilin at SPFC today. Yes, though it was like bomb, you still did it to your best. You exceeded my expectation when I thought you will just male a short one, but you prayer for her studies. Your willingness is something that marvels me. J

I know this came in late, but I really want to affirm you for taking your walk with God seriously. Thought you might not know a lot but you always make the effort to rush for service. Branel, do you know that when I have a chance to see you, I’m really happy. This is because I see a part of myself in you, the part of I don’t know much but I still try to understand. I was like that when I came church, didn’t know much plus the pastor talk so long but I had a heart that was I would try my best kind. Yes, In the same way I see this in you. Branel, time to step up and take a greater ownership in your walk with God.

I want to affirm you and this is no joke. You know that since few weeks back I’ve been asking from your about compassion for the young people who are lost. Honestly, I didn’t know how you would do that. However, I want to thank you for what happened yesterday and today which showed me why the people really need you. Through the things that this generation do, it just helped me to once again feel the sense of burden and lost they are in. God, I pray that this burden will not stop here but you will teach me what to do. J Thank You! God, anyhow my bus came, one more stop to home! Thank you God. The time now is 1155pm.
