ID4
I remember that many months back, the four of them and myself were seating around the table at Yishun starbucks and we were sitting directly in front of the counter. That elongated table with insufficient butt space especially for 'not so slim people' like well you know who huh.
The one thing I could have never forgotten about that meeting was the discussion of our group name. We had many ideas- from the most mundane of North EFG to cheen pok name FENG or even the more cheesey one SOMEBODY (SBW plus Woodlands) and we finally settled one ID:JC.
ID:JC means our identity is found in Jesus Christ and we seek to be more and more like Jesus.
ID:JC, if you honestly feel that over the past few months in ID:JC you have grown. May it be, in the area of spiritual discipline, loving people, having a heart to reach to the lost, knowing more about God, knowing about yourself or so much more.
I want to tell you that this growth doesn't happen overnight, but it's because of the four key pillars of ID:JC. ID:JC will not be where it is today, if this four man and woman of God did not laid down their lives as an instrument for God to use to bless our lives. We see God's hand on them because when they lead us we know that they are not just telling us to do this or that, but we know that God's with them.
So my dear ID:JC, if there's one thing i could share with you guys. It would be the idea that we must learn to honor our leaders. Don't be ungrateful. Write a post to your leaders because you know that they live a life of role model for you. They live on such high standards that it's not easy on their own strength but they depended greatly on God.
So yes, as we continue to reach out to the lost, let's write them something or even say thank you.
(Even i do feel appreciated by two person in ID:JC today by dropping me a text of thanks and heartfelt words. Though it's not flowery, i know it comes from a sincere heart. Right Jun Jie and Kenneth?) ^^
ID4, you guys are the one that keep the group growing by the direction of God. Keep close with God. I heart all the four of you. :D
