To start off. Nothing much to say, but i have a few people whom i would really like to appreciate and affirm.
1. It is none other than our birthday Girl, Ellina Leo.
- It has been said countless times, but it shall be said again. Thank You Ellina, for being in this Family of God. Your presence in this family has made an impact on everyone, it does not need much work from you to grow, it took convictions and Your love and care for GOd and His people that made you matured and grow. Girl, you truly have made me feel encouraged by your actions and heart. By saying things like "I wanna lead Marsiling."; "I approached two girls to reach out to them after a tiring cca."; "I get 'Nua' by this and that."; and "I have 2 CHR contacts which i can help you invite for sowing.." It told me i should have the same kind of heart that yearns for God's work and presence. Your faithfulness has been one of the most memorable aspect of You that i admire. Wow, how you tried your best in this community and kingdom.. I am really speechless. haha, jiayou. Don't ever give up. Problems or not, God is greater. (: True?
2. Shenda.
- He is one of a kind person. haha, i started discipling him for not more than a month, and i can see certain things in his life that i would really like to help him with, and at the same time see to it that i do it with him. And of course, certain reasons make me feel nervous and insecure while leading him. But cos of God's strength and courage, i have met him for 2 times. He once asked me, what did you tried to imagine and intend to help me with when you first heard you are leading me? I told him, Your relationship with God lor? THis answer is very general, and does not speak much. But That's what i think i am here for him for. ANd i gotta say, he has been a sincere person to work with, at times he shows his unspiritual side, i do not even have to start correcting, he knows he is prompted by the Spirit. And that was what i meant when i said i trust in his judgement. Both times i work with him, i think he caught something because he really wants to do something, and go through it with God. He applied the Race with God, and Spiritual Awareness. (: thank God for you. CONTINUE GROWING! (: Even when he is initiative enough to apologise because i once told him the value and stuff, he applied immediately. (:
3. Xavier Lim. (:
- If people have been interacting and spending time with him, they would all know he is one hell of a kid. He, despite our age gap, just loves to disturb people and myself. haha. But that is something great about him, the first time i met him during a group sowing, he open himself up, and i started talking to him. (: SO he is one sociable kid. But more important, he has the genuine heart and compassion. To tell you honestly, i often peek (Not because i am doing anything funny Xavier!) at new believers like Xavier himself, to see their response and reactions to certain things during service especially praises and worships. One of the most motivating thing that made me called out to God more during worship was Xavier. His heart that seek Him, His heart that shows much curiosity and honesty to God, certainly encouraged me. He even took the time to come down for Praise and worship session before going back to start work on his Taekwondo. (: When i chat with him on the phone via text message, he shows the want to stay throughout, and tell me he wants to stay for the entire day next week. God placed this guy here for a purpose, and i really thank God for that. (:
4. Elton.
- I wanna thank Him for his faithfulness as the Unit Administrator. He may be new at it for a month or so. But he shows the commitment to this role, and gives his best. Not letting anything hinder him. He was given much thing to do, from the first time he became an UA, but he told me his burden for administrating for his group, and tell me how he would want to overcome them. Such commitment is worthy to affirm! (: Jiayou Elton, I know there are more than this that you can do. (:
5. BinHua.
- Hey Bin haha, didn't expect this right? But yeah, i really wanna thank you for growing in Humility. I know you have certain things to do, and i know at times you wonder if you should do this or not that makes you feel insecure. SOMETIMES. Often your words might also either offend, or encourage or stand neutral, but even when you offend, from what i heard from koksoon's entry.. You surrendered your pride and clarified. And more than that, apologise.
You rock. Really, i hope you can continue growing in this area. I know you are someone who might get into an argument today, but become okay the next day. But apologising contain a significant and value. (: haha jiayou. I also wanna thank you for you constant effort in serving in this kingdom through many events like metamorphosis games, stick event, Hope resource etc.
