When were the days where everyone stood firm on something which they believed in.
When were the days where everyone gathered at this random place to fellowship/study/come together to build one another up.
When were the days where 6 people from different backgrounds come together at Canberra Park without fail and play basketball to reach out to the Secondary Ones like almost every single day.
When were the days where Sec 1s streaming out of school, will turn their direction towards canberra park and know that someone is there playing basketball.
When were the days where people weren’t what they are now.
When were the days where everyone gathered in Canberra Park to pray pray and pray.
When were the days everyone, everyone knew their purpose and their source of reliance.
When were the days where I am convicted to do something about everything that’s not pleasing to God.
When were the days where I was at Canberra Park even before they even end school to wait for them.
When were the days where everyone enjoyed each other’s presence rather than having abhorrence in their inner self?
When were the days where God was in the picture of everything.
When were the days where I am excited to do something big for God.
Well, when were the days that I go and do something about it.
God, help me with this fire. Help me to lit it up, higher and higher, brighter and brighter. Stronger and stronger.
I will and I WANT to be the change. Who’s with me?

technology and us
nope, i’m not writing any composition essays on technology and how it affects humans. just a short and sweet one.
facebook, twitter were created for people to connect with one another and to communicate with one another better.
i vividly remembered that during June, we had this thingy call: like-this-status-and-i-will-post-what-i-like-about-you. Everyone wrote something encouraging to each other and for once, i thought; “wow, finally it’s on the good use”.
i was wrong.
months later, people used it to rant, to vent their unhappiness and whatever you can think of (not something pleasant). i just wanna say; they’re created for a better purpose.
similarly, we humans aren’t created to be driven by our emotions and to be living aimlessly in this planet Earth. some humans help, serve and heal others, whereas they are some which are at the other extremes; they envy, jealous and hate others.
i just wanna say; We are created for a better purpose too.

grow up
God isn’t you Dog.
The church isn’t a place of entertainment for you.
This is the Kingdom of God and it’s rule by one King and he sets the rules.
This is your life, and if you want to screw it up, go ahead.
Ultimately, grow up kids. You can’t always have things your way.
the end.

Many hear of this, Male by birth, Man by choice.
So what makes a real Man?
Real men are tender to others, but tough on themself.
Tender, as in not soft, but a friend, one who listens, one who does not force his way through people, but win them over.
Tough, not as in Fit and Buffed, but more of a person who knows his limits. He sets his own limits, and knows when to stop. Takes control of what he is doing, and not go with the flow of the world.
Another thing, a leader leads himself with his mind, while he leads others with his heart. First of all, why lead others with your heart? The Holy Spirit resides in our heart, and well, we are told to love others, not lead others. We are to guide, not to control. So, the heart is the best tool to guide others to God, and also God’s people.
Leading oneself by the mind is because, the heart is easily tainted. When others do not keep a watch on our hearts, sin can easily overtake your life. Leading by the mind, is through GOD’S WORD, knowing what God truely wants. We cannot let our feelings guide us when we lead ourselves. This will lead to a life of self comfort. where you always want to let yourself be comfortable, and well. We will be stuck in our comfort zones! being stuck in our comfort zones=being stuck in our life! SO let’s, break out of our comfort zones, and do great things!
