Tough Struggle
I'm here updating on this while you all are giving your best to study at Ya Kun. :D I'm really encouraged to see so many people studying together, not playing together. Haha! I shall post here before David Hoe don't let me. :x
I just want to start by sharing how I overcame one of my biggest fear in my life : water . D: I had to know how to learn swim because my school camp got swimming test. ): Then I went and find Thomas on friday to go Sentosa's house so that he can teach me how to swim. It's really really really really really hard for me at the start because I got swimming pool phobia. x.x In the process, really felt like giving up and just forget about learning. I struggled through and had to really just throw everything in. Thomas keep telling me to just relax, but it's really impossible at the start. Thankfully, through the hard time struggling, I managed to learn how to swim. And it really amazes me to how God even touches my heart during process like these. The funny thing starts when the service today goes everything about trusting God and believing in God. My first thought was, that's what I went through yesterday! The thing didn't just end there, David Hoe just had to meet the guys and talk about being tough on ourselves and not giving up. And I think it's really the reason why I came to overcome my fear and learnt how to swim.
The point is, don't give up no matter how lousy things are. And it's weird and somehow heartwarming to see David so convicted while meeting the group. :D
Shall write affirmations later when I reach home or probably tomorrow.
